Find What You’re Looking For
The EG12* Series Solenoid Gas Valves are high-performance, normally closed valves engineered for use in civil and industrial applications. These versatile valves are powered by either alternating or direct current, ensuring flexible integration into a wide range of gas systems. Each valve features a wire-net filter at the inlet to prevent the ingress of dirt particles larger than 1 mm, ensuring long-term reliability and efficiency.
Normally Closed Design: The default closed position enhances safety by preventing gas flow unless the valve is electrically energized, providing a secure solution for gas management systems.
Wire-Net Filter: A built-in filter at the valve inlet prevents dirt and particles larger than 1 mm from entering the system, protecting internal components and improving performance longevity.
Silent Operation (S/L Models): Valves marked with "S" or "L" are equipped with direct current coils, designed to minimize operational noise, making these valves ideal for environments where quiet performance is critical.
Fast or Slow Opening Options: The EG12* valves are available in either fast opening or slow opening configurations. Slow opening models are equipped with a hydraulic shock absorber to ensure smooth, controlled gas flow initiation, preventing sudden surges.
Flow Adjustment & Initial Flow Control: These valves offer flow adjustment capabilities to regulate gas flow based on operational needs. Additionally, fast opening initial flow adjustment provides control over the rate of gas release at startup.
Inlet & Outlet Pressure Plugs: All valves come equipped with inlet pressure plugs, providing easy access for pressure testing and monitoring. Outlet pressure plugs are available on select models without flow adjustment, enhancing versatility and application-specific customization.
Flow Adjustment for EG12*
To adjust gas flow, start by removing one of the two screws that secure the lag group, specifically the non-enamelled one labeled as “4”. Rotate the entire group clockwise to decrease the flow or counterclockwise to increase it.
Opening Time Adjustment
After removing the top protection by rotating it counterclockwise, adjust the screw marked as “1”. Turning the screw clockwise increases the opening time, while turning it counterclockwise decreases it.
Quick Release Initial Flow Adjustment
To adjust the initial flow, first remove the top protection by rotating it counterclockwise. Then, turn the nut labeled as “2”. Rotating the nut clockwise reduces the initial release, while turning it counterclockwise increases the initial release.
